This old phone is of unknown age. It is a Stromberg-Carlson model with 1443A stamped on the bottom. There is also a 338 in smaller print. The ear piece has a 12-63 stamp and perhaps this is the manufacture date.On the same piece is stamped 210278. Inside the phone is stamped 208359. Hope this helps. The cord from the hand set to the base is deteriorating with bare wire right at the hand set. The wire out of the phone is about six feet long with a yellow, red and green wire to work with. The face plate is washed out but the rotary dial is functioning properly and the rest of telephone looks to be in good repair. There is a scratch on the left side of the phone and some paint chipping in the cradle, but no perceived cracks in the handset or casing. While I did not wire up the phone, there is nothing to indicate it will not function properly. Any other questions please email and thanks for looking.
