When you don't get sound in your headphones on an iPod mini, it could mean that your headphone jack OR your motherboard or both is/are defective. If you buy this item and it doesn't work with your iPod, it probably means there's a problem with your motherboard. Please don't e-mail me back saying that I sold you a defective headphone jack. Check my feedback rating to see that I test and sell quality, working replacement parts and merchandise. Because of the issue above, this item is sold as-is and there are no returns. I can't be liable for whatever other problems your iPod might have. Rest assured, however. This headphone jack is definitely working.
