This Yamaha receiver malfunctions and requires repair. I purchased this Yamaha receiver brand new, and I am the only owner. Although I took care of this receiver and treated it well, this receiver powered my surround system during hundreds of DVDs and thousands of CDs. Accordingly, the performance of the receiver has deteriorated. The receiver worked perfectly even two years after the warranty period. However, now the receiver powers up, but the amplifier does not properly power all the speakers.
There are no scratches or dents, so this receiver looks great. Someone who can repair this item will have a fantastic 5.1 channel receiver. This Yamaha receiver malfunctions and requires repair.
