Vandersteen 2Ci Woofers for Rebuild

Two high quality 8 inch Vifa Filled Polycone woofers (Vanderseen model number 8P2C) taken from a pair of 2Ci speakers. The original owner had his amplifier blow out, which caused an overdrive of the woofer on one speaker. This caused the voicecoil to be damaged so the woofer does not work. The other woofer does work, but the dust cap had to be re-inverted. Both speakers have cat scratches on the cones (no real problem there) and some tears on the surrounds (a bigger issue) as can be seen in the pictures. I was able to close up the small tear on the working woofer with a little glue. I offer these only as potential rebuilds, or if you would like to use the working speaker to replace one that you have that may be in worse condition. Due to the condition, I'm offering them As-Is with no returns. Buyer pays shipping, but local pick up is accepted. Good luck bidding!
