Power Supply and Amplifier from Conn Minuet 540 Organ:
All parts pulled from a working organ. The amplifier has 3 channels, each push/pull: one main and two for tremolo (tremolo input and modulator input). The main channel uses 6L6GCs with with a 7199 as amp/phase inverter. The tremolo input uses 2 6V6GTs with a 7199 as amp/phase inverter and the modulator input uses 2 6V6GTs with a 12AU7 as a pre-amp/phase inverter.
My idea was to convert this set into a stereo amplifier: split the tremolo into two separate channels to create a right and left, and to use the main channel as a center/subwoofer. I bought an additional output transformer, and 7199 vacuum tube for this. (Both the additional output transformer and 7199 were purchased on eBay some time ago and were described as NOS. The box for the 7199 has a torn flap.)
The tone generator tubes (and one complete generator chassis) were also pulled. There are a total of 28 12AU7 tubes from the tone generators. Please note that 20 of these are clear tops (RCA?).
All of the original tubes were Conn branded and made in USA as far as I can tell. The larger tubes on the power supply and amp have the Conn lettering intact on their bases. Unfortunately the red "Conn" ink lettering on the smaller tubes was removed during cleaning (came off at the slightest touch). Thus the only brand I can confirm is the RCA brand on the NOS 7199 tube mentioned earlier.
I also purchased an original service manual from an organ service company to aid in the design/mod. The service manual has 46 pages, is in excellent condition and includes schematics, parts lists, and parts descriptions.
Please review the photos to see everything that is included in the sale: power supply with tubes, amplifier with tubes, one tone generator chassis with tubes, various cables, power switch plate, extra 7199, extra output transformer, 28 additional 12AU7s, and the service manual.
The power supply and amp chassis each measure 6" x 12 1/2". The tone generator chassis is 4 5/8" x 9". This stuff is heavy: total weight is in the 28-30 lb range. All parts will be carefully packed with the tubes packaged/shipped in a separate box.
