It provides a tone that rises in pitch as the signal strength goes up and a lighted meter for nighttime use. No batteries are required to use this meter; it is powered by the receiver.
The SF-95 satellite finder works with DSS DirecTV, DishNetwork, ExpressVU, StarChoice, FTA MGEG2/DVB receivers, plus other digital and analog satellite systems. It works with both Ku band and C band satellite signals.
