If the DVD Media you burn is able to be read by some players, but not others, the media are not necessarily defective. This is usually caused by the compatibility of DVD Player rather than the DVD-R media. If the completed DVD-R media is playable on the computer, but not on a stand alone DVD player, the media is not defective. This is usually caused by incomplete authoring of the disc.
These discs are in new condition; however they are an open box item. An open box item is simply a box that has been opened or damaged, but the actual product wasn't affected. These discs were inspected by retailers and were found to be in new condition. So, here's your chance to get practically new discs for a fraction of the price.
