These are made of durable but lightweight polyvinyl. They are much more tolerant of being dropped, sat on, or otherwise mishandled than the common jewel cases that everyone uses now.
The variety of colors makes it easy to sort your CDs or DVDs by color code.
Each of these cases has a square base which allows you to store them upright, without the inconvenience of having them roll off a shelf.
