This is truly a one-of-a-kind audiophile treat. Created by a brillant audio engineer with a whimsical flair, this is the Cadbury I headphone amplifier, a true audiophile amplifier designed, constructed and enclosed in a cookie box! If you're looking around for another like it, forget it! Yes, there is a Cadbury 2 (of which only one exists), but this is the first and the original.
If you love the lush liquid sound that tubes can generate, this gem can do it in spades!
Picture #5 lists the specifications but the novelty of its creation so captured onlookers that it was actually once used for the cover of a audiophile magazine.
I was told that Dr. Peppard used a reliable but somewhat hard to get interconnect (included- 110V) in order to provide the use of a detachable cord. Well, I'm also including an updated version of a male/female IEC connector sockets that happen to be be cryo-treated for better connectivity should you be handy with a soldering iron and desire to upgrade the unit.
I'm selling it because I literally created four separate sound systems in two separate residences and I'm running out of room.
