32” Sony KV32XBR75 Television with beautiful Oak Cabinet. Cabinet looks almost new. Picture is beautiful and sound is amazing. Complete with the original remote control which is programmable. Features include PIP, SRS sound, Freeze Frame, variable output audio line outs, S-video connector, up to 3 video in connections, etc. This was the top-of-line Sony XBR set when new and still performs great. Add the digital converter box for about $10 after the government’s $40 contribution and you are ready for the all digital world after Feb. 17, 2009. The set does have one problem. Sometimes the sound and or the picture will just stop working. A bump to the left side of the cabinet will restore it to normal—sometimes just turning the set off then back on works. A little annoying, but tolerable. I am 99% sure this is a bad solder joint, as Sony had some problems with this about the time this one was built. If you do a web search for this model, you will find the suggested fix, which involves re-soldering a couple of spots on the circuit board. Hasn’t been enough of a problem for me to invest the time to solder them. I will include a PDF of the parts manual so you can identify the places to solder, if you choose to fix it.
